Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you'd predicted?

Less. My output is way, way down. And, most of those stories are short-shorts, which doesn't please me.

What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January 2002?

What's your favorite story of the year? Not the most popular, but the one that makes you happiest.

"Whisper" Dark, and sad, and there is something more to say there.

Did you take any writing risks this year? What did you learn from them?

Risks. I'm not sure. I made an effort to go a bit darker, and I seem to be expanding my language but I'm not sure.

Do you have any fanfic or profic goals for the New Year?

I want to write more, both in fanfic and to actually write some original fic. I also want to finally finish editing my fanfic novel. I have a theory that once that's gone, I'll be freer. I'm probably wrong at this point, but here's hoping.

May everyone have a happy, healthy and prosperous new calendar year.

It's 11:24. My husband, in desperate need of sleep, is snoring away. I was watching a documentary on Gene Kelly - utterly fascinating, and that man could *move* - and he just went to sleep.

So, I'm on IRC with a shot of schnapps - we don't have any good wine open, and I don't want open a bottle just for me. And I'll ring in the new year that way.

And it's all good.
