Mama Deb

I can't help being pretentious.

The meme I can never do:
1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 123
3. Find the fifth full sentence.
4. Post the text of the sentence in your journal along with these instructions.
5. Don't search around for the coolest book you can find. Do what's actually nearest to you (We already know you, no use trying to be pretentious)

Why? Because there is sort of a hutch on the computer desk (actually, the top half of a bookcase) and it's filled with books. Not only is there no "closest" book, but most of them are in Hebrew, or are Hebrew/English or Aramaic/English dictionaries. Le Sigh.

One of the agents just asked me, and I am not making this up, "How many centimeters are in a meter?"

She's European.

This tops the two times I've been asked when the next leap year was. Barely. (Although one did ask for a formula. Me: "Can you divide the year by four?"

I just got next week's edition of TV Guide. It's the special large format cable edition, so I don't know if everything in it is in the digest size, but.

They have an interview with Barry Williams (Greg Brady) because they just released the first season DVD for the Series.

And according to that, it's the story of two widowERS and their six children.
