Medical Report

"Post-viral fatique." Can last any length of time, and I should drink water to rehydrate. My lungs are clear, my sinuses are clear, my throat is slightly inflamed. My temperature is normal for me. Blood test for infection, but at this point, no need for antibiotics.

In other news, I now weigh 198 pounds, which is eight pounds down from November, my last weighing and the lowest I've weighed in years. Given that I'm more muscular, I'm pretty happy. My blood pressure is 130/90, which is the best it's been in a long time. She gave me A1C and triglyceride tests.

I'm tired from the trip, and my husband is currently shopping for Shabbat necessities.

So I'm not the only one who's told that. I hate these sorts of doesn't-sound-too-serious-but-is-very-annoying-and-makes-one-feel-awful illnesses.

I hope you get better soon.

yay! go you!

Glad you feel better!

Guess you won't see this until after Shabbos but I really hope it went well, considering.

Glad your weight is OK and there seems to be no need for antibiotics.

A word of caution: post-viral fatigue can last two weeks, or years. Be careful.

Hey, I was just browsing your journal, and thought I'd better commiserate. I've spent the last two years sick with post-viral fatigue, had to repeat a year of school and all, so I know how it feels. Hope you get better soon.

By the way, I love your writing. I've read 'Beautiful Boy' about four times now. And I hope you don't mind me intruding like this...
