Several things

I went to the comic shop today, because I'm feeling much better and I couldn't go yesterday.

The owner, according to his assistant, is still in a coma. It's been over a week. And it doesn't look good. His assistant says they'll keep the shop open as long as possible. Damn, damn, damn.

The comics themselves were - mabfan, everything points to your theory being right. More on them later. And they were all good.

XXV.
Let those who are in favour with their stars
Of public honour and proud titles boast,
Whilst I, whom fortune of such triumph bars,
Unlook'd for joy in that I honour most.
Great princes' favourites their fair leaves spread
But as the marigold at the sun's eye,
And in themselves their pride lies buried,
For at a frown they in their glory die.
The painful warrior famoused for fight,
After a thousand victories once foil'd,
Is from the book of honour razed quite,
And all the rest forgot for which he toil'd:
Then happy I, that love and am belov'd,
Where I may not remove nor be removed.</p>

There will be more speculationy goodness tomorrow.

*hugs* *prays for you and comic book shop owner*

Is the Shakespeare meme just to put up your favorite sonnet of his?

Thank you.

I don't even know his name...

No, it's like the poetry meme - see a quote by Shakespeare, post a quote by Shakespeare. I just chose a sonnet.

But he is someone you know and care about.

Thanks for the clarification. I just thought it was odd, because I was re-reading my favorite Shakespearian sonnet today while I was supposed to be shelf reading.
