Oh, sniff... I forgot to sign up for Arisia this year. Ah, well. Maybe I'll come one of the days and say hello. Saturday sounds good. :)

there's still time. :)

Yeah, come on Saturday. I'll be a trifle busy, but I'd love to see you.

Responsible Monogamy?
What exactly does this mean?
What would irresponsible monogamy be?
Is there any other kind of monogamy?
I'm real confused.

As opposed to responsible polyamory, I think.

How to have a good monogamous relationship, I suppose. And, you know. I do have a good one.

I have a good one, too. Just the title threw me.

Yeah, I guess.

Last year, I was on a panel called "Earth Girls/Boys are Easy." About how to get laid at a con.

It was just the wrong place for me. :)

When I was engaged, a gentleman from my shul told me the secret to a successful marriage: "Yesdear. One word. Seven letters. Yesdear."

It's worked for me so far. :-)

I would think that you could do irresponsible monogamy in all sorts of ways, ranging from adultery, serial monogamy of the heartbreaking sort (as in ruthlessly tossing person A aside because person B is much more bright and shiny, or deliberately breaking up the relationship between C and D because you want D, etc.) through flirting/teasing and then backing off with, "How dare you! I'm married!"

A lot of the irresponsible behaviors are pretty much the same for monogamy and polyamory, at least at the core of not treating other people as human, not respecting self and others, and the like.

I'd love to see your notes/hear your report on, well, all of them.
