I then chopped up fresh suspects and cooked them in oil and margarine (I ran out of oil) until soft. To this I added a can of kidney beans (store was out of white beans) and a can of whole tomatoes in juice because, well. No dice. Sorry.
And some garlic. And then I poured in some of the fresh turkey broth and added about two cups of chopped turkey meat (thawed, mostly). I will eventually add some digalitini (tube pasta). I'm calling this turkey minestrone, and it will be dinner tomorrow night. Tonight, we go out. Maybe.
Or we'll have soup. It's undecided.
