Huh - fic fest

Every year, I look forward to mcshep_match because the stories are always good and often excellent - there are several with a permament home on my pda.

This year I'm seriously thinking of taking part. I'm not sure where life is going to take me in the next few months, but at least one possibility will leave me with a train commute of HOURS - plenty of time to write, and the prompts are of a sort with which I can work. And I've learned I enjoy ficfests.

I even know which team.

Should I go for it? Not everyone who signs up gets put on a team, and I'm not exactly a top of the list writer (not being modest - I barely write anymore.) Is it worth the chance?

Of course you should, and of course it is. That;s why I signed up for the new RPF BittyBang.

I miss writing fic. I'm going to enjoy this.

YES! I generally sign up as a beta (for either/both teams, I'm easy that way) so you should feel entitled to demand my services.

Good. You're one of the toughest betas I've worked with.

Consider that a compliment.

I'd love to see you sign up! Even if you're considering joining that pesky Team War (though obviously Team Peace is a much, much better choice :D)

This is going to be a lot of fun.

No comment as to which team, of course, but I know where my heart lies.

Go for it!

I shall.

What's the worst that could happen? You don't get picked -- but if you don't enter, you already know you won't get picked.

I was told it was first come, first served. And even if I sign up too late (not likely since I have to do it as soon as possible), I can beta or pinch hit. Also fun.
